Meet the “pit bull with lipstick”! What a pitch-perfect performance… every ball knocked out of the park.
Along with the “Hockey Moms vs. pit bulls” comparison, another of my favorite moments was her explanation of the job description for a small town mayor-
“Sort of like a community organizer, except you’ve got real responsibilities!”
Just one of many marvelous moments.

I thought of Marc Antony’s oration at the funeral of Julius Caesar, as she praised Obama’s skill as an orator; then she asks- but what has he done? What has he achieved? I wonder if Obama will ever again be able to give one of his “inspiring”, “soaring”, leg thrilling speeches without that question intruding into people’s minds.
“Some candidates use ‘Change’ to promote their career. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.
They’re the ones whose names appear on laws and landmark reforms, not just on buttons and banners, or on self-designed presidential seals“.
Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.
Team Obama, be afraid- be very afraid!

I loved the Hockey Mom-Pit Bull crack and
There were so many home run hits, weren’t there? Can hardly choose a “best”. I imagine people everywhere gathering at work the next day, comparing which zingers were their favorite.
And the reason they can’t just be brushed off as “mere” zingers? Because they were so true. THAT is the true nature of her threat- her authenticity and the truth of what she said.
This promises to be so much better than anyone dared imagine!
