Sadly, sadly, it has become believable.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, 2d in line to the Presidency, has had a photo on her official web site accompanying a post about how much the Democrats care about our troops and how the Dems are going to treat them better than the Republicans have.
Only problem is… that’s not an American troop. Our’s don’t have epaulets like that… not epaulets that have “CANADA” on the outside edge.
They don’t… even… know… what their own troops look like.
One commenter suggested it’s because they always avert their eyes when they see someone in uniform approaching!
Of course the web site has been “sanitized” by now. It lasted about three hours after the picture started getting passed around, they say, but thanks to image capturing and downloading, the days of Soviet-style history rewrites are over. I found these through Michele Malkin over at “The Q and O Blog”.
